Planning a trip...




Carl and I have been talking about going to Chicago for our first anniversary (strange to be already talking about our anniversary!). We plan on going up there for a couple of days. We have a few things on our to-do list while we are there, but this is where y'all come in. We need suggestions on things to do. What are some must-see/must-do attractions? I haven't been to Chicago since I was in elementary school, which was a long time ago. We are kinda on a budget, so if you all have any ideas on keeping costs down, that would be great! Any suggestions on a place to stay?

Since my husband is working on a Saturday; since it's been a cloudy, rainy day; and since it's been almost two months since I have done a blog post. I am doing a GIVEAWAY! Carl is working on a Saturday evening for a co-worker, but he will have Labor Day off. That will be nice because Carl will be able to stay at our family reunion as long as he likes.
