National Anthem clip

This was posted by a couple of my friends on Facebook. I thought I would share it here: National Anthem will give you Goosebumps!! This was at a Texas Tech University basketball game . . . The National Anthem is sung by five little girls. The two on the right are six years old. The two in the middle are seven and the one on the left i...s eight. An entire arena remains completely silent throughout the song. You could hear a pin drop.. Take a moment to listen to this. Trust me, you will not regret it.

Need a Laugh?

Check out Tim Hawkins. He is a Christian comedian who is really funny. Carl heard about him on Moody Radio one day and looked up his stuff on YouTube. I was in tears laughing so hard. Go to his website here: www.timhawkins.net

I am having a Pampered Chef party

Image
I am having a Pampered Chef party later this month. I can't invite everyone to my house...I wouldn't have enough room for everyone. But, if you want to order something, you can go to my consultant's (who is also my cousin) website and order directly from there. Her website is www.mindiewilson.com I will let you know later how the party went...hopefully with pictures.

Hard to believe it has been three months already since we have gotten married. Wow...time flies! It has been a wonderful journey so far. God has really helped us. We are looking forward to what God has in store for us in the coming months and years.

Never Forget...

In Christ Alone

A new favorite song... Lyrics: In Christ alone my hope is found, He is my light, my strength, my song; this Cornerstone, this solid Ground, firm through the fiercest drought and storm. What heights of love, what depths of peace, when fears are stilled, when strivings cease! My Comforter, my All in All, here in the love of Christ I stand. In Christ alone! who took on flesh Fulness of God in helpless babe! This gift of love and righteousness Scorned by the ones he came to save: Till on that cross as Jesus died, The wrath of God was satisfied - For every sin on Him was laid; Here in the death of Christ I live. There in the ground His body lay Light of the world by darkness slain: Then bursting forth in glorious Day Up from the grave he rose again! And as He stands in victory Sin's curse has lost its grip on me, For I am His and He is mine - Bought with the precious blood of Christ. No guilt in life, no fear in death, This is the power of Christ in me; From life's first cry to fina

Cnicinnati trip

Image
Carl and I went to Cincinnati last weekend to celebrate Carl's birthday, which was the 28th. We went to a Cincinnati Reds game on Friday night. (They won, by the way...tickets to the game was Carl's birthday present.) There were fireworks after the game. The debris from the fireworks kept falling onto us and getting in our eyes. We went to the Zoo on Saturday. We didn't really think that we would see anyone that we knew while we were out there, but we saw our Pastor's wife sister (and fellow blogger), Kelly Stamper and her family. What a nice surprise. We stayed downtown at the Millennium Hotel, which was within walking distance of Fountain Square and Great American Ballpark. We really had a nice time. The weather was perfect, not too hot, but just right. We wished that we would have had more time there in Cincy, but maybe we can go back soon. I love the feel of the city. I love the old buildings and love being close to the river. Here are some pictures from our trip. F
