Slow Cooker Chicken Cordon Bleu

I found this recipe on Pinterest. I fixed it to take to my Grandma's for Sunday dinner. I actually let it cook during Sunday School and church in the fellowship hall. It was super easy. Everyone at dinner really liked it. Carl even asked me if I could cook it for the two of us one day during the week. That told me Carl REALLY liked it.
I made it this week. I let it cook in the crock pot one evening and we reheated it for our lunch the next day.

Candle Giveaway!

Since my husband is working on a Saturday; since it's been a cloudy, rainy day; and since it's been almost two months since I have done a blog post. I am doing a GIVEAWAY! Carl is working on a Saturday evening for a co-worker, but he will have Labor Day off. That will be nice because Carl will be able to stay at our family reunion as long as he likes. For the past few years, he has only been able to stay for an hour before heading into work. Instead of staying home by myself, Mom and I went shopping. We went to a consignment store called Off The Hanger, where I bought this pair of shoes for only $6:   Cute, huh?   We also went to Bath and Body Works. They were having a Labor Day Sale. The 3-wick candles are 2 for $20 this weekend. The mini candles are 2 for $5, and they also have lots of other things on sale. I love it when they have the candles on sale. I absolutely love the candles at Bath and Body Works!   I bought these two large candles.
