Friday Fill In


And...here we go!

1. Laughter is the best medicine.

2. "I am not..." are the three words that started off the last email I sent.

3. What I'm most looking forward to today is the weekend.

4. Jesus puts a smile on my face.

5. Where in the world is Carmen Sandiego?

(On a side note, who remembers playing that game? I loved it!)

6. Retail Therapy is just what I need! (But I can't afford it right now...:(...)

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to spending time with Carl before he goes to work , tomorrow my plans include our church Picnic and an Indians baseball game and Sunday, I want to take a nap!

Since my husband is working on a Saturday; since it's been a cloudy, rainy day; and since it's been almost two months since I have done a blog post. I am doing a GIVEAWAY! Carl is working on a Saturday evening for a co-worker, but he will have Labor Day off. That will be nice because Carl will be able to stay at our family reunion as long as he likes. For the past few years, he has only been able to stay for an hour before heading into work. Instead of staying home by myself, Mom and I went shopping. We went to a consignment store called Off The Hanger, where I bought this pair of shoes for only $6:   Cute, huh?   We also went to Bath and Body Works. They were having a Labor Day Sale. The 3-wick candles are 2 for $20 this weekend. The mini candles are 2 for $5, and they also have lots of other things on sale. I love it when they have the candles on sale.
