Cades Cove ~ Great Smoky Mountain National Park
Since the first day of our vacation (Saturday) was spent in driving down to Tennessee, I won't bore you with those details. I did a post on the cabin. Check that out below. Sunday morning, we drove about an hour to the Maryville Pilgrim Holiness Church. We gave ourselves plenty of time to get there. We didn't want to get there late in case we got lost. We had no trouble at all finding the church, and were greeted warmly by Brother and Sister Walden and the congregation there at Maryville. We enjoyed a great service, then made our way back to the cabin to change clothes and have lunch before going to Cades Cove for the afternoon. Well, we got a little stuck in the driveway at the cabin. Stuck as in one wheel was no longer on the road. We had to have a wrecker come and pull the car out. If sauce is too thick, add a little milk. Serve over pasta. We tried this a couple of weeks ago and really liked it. It is super easy, and tastes really good!
