Easy Snack Recipe
Here is an easy snack recipe. I fixed it for our Pastor Appreciation Night, and came home with an empty bowl. It is so simple to put together. It would be a good snack for after church on Sunday nights. It is from the latest issue of Taste of Home. I like it because it is both sweet and salty....best of both worlds there. :)
Sweet-Tooth Popcorn
1 package (3.3 oz) butter flavored microwave popcorn
1 pound white candy coating, chopped
1 cup peanut M&M's
1 cup Reese's Pieces
1 cup salted cashews
1 cup pecan halves
Microwave popcorn according to package directions. Place in large bowl. In microwave, melt candy coating, stir until smooth. pour over popcorn and stir until covered. Combine the M&M's, Reese's Pieces, cashews, and pecans (I put all these into a large Ziploc bag and shook it up to combine); stir into popcorn mixture.
Immediately spread onto wax paper; let stand until set. Break into pieces. Store in an airtight container.
