My new T-shirt

I won this T-shirt from Kira's Cottage Christian Store in Franklin by answering a Bible trivia question. The question was "Which book in the Bible does NOT mention God's name?" Do you know the answer? I will tell you in a bit. I actually guessed one book, but it was wrong. Then I asked my mom and she gave me the right answer.



I was able to go in to the store and pick put any T-shirt I wanted. I saw this one almost right away. I like the shirt for a few reasons. 1. It has my Dad's favorite Bible verse on it. 2. I like this verse myself. 3. It was free. When I wear this shirt, I know I will always think of Dad, and perhaps even feel him watching over me.

The answer to the question? The book of Esther.

Candle Giveaway!

Since my husband is working on a Saturday; since it's been a cloudy, rainy day; and since it's been almost two months since I have done a blog post. I am doing a GIVEAWAY! Carl is working on a Saturday evening for a co-worker, but he will have Labor Day off. That will be nice because Carl will be able to stay at our family reunion as long as he likes. For the past few years, he has only been able to stay for an hour before heading into work. Instead of staying home by myself, Mom and I went shopping. We went to a consignment store called Off The Hanger, where I bought this pair of shoes for only $6:   Cute, huh?   We also went to Bath and Body Works. They were having a Labor Day Sale. The 3-wick candles are 2 for $20 this weekend. The mini candles are 2 for $5, and they also have lots of other things on sale. I love it when they have the candles on sale. I absolutely love the candles at Bath and Body Works!   I bought these two large candles.
