Happy Birthday, Mackenzie!

Yesterday, June 5th, was my little cousin Mackenzie's birthday. She is now 2 years old. She, like her sister, is just too cute for words. Mackenize was born just a couple of days before that terrible flood that hit Johnson County and Bartholomew County and some other counties south of us. Mackenzie talks a lot for only being two years old. She talks just as much or maybe even more that Brooklynn, who just turned 3. I think it is because they are so close in age, that they are learning everything together.

Happy Birthday, Mackenzie! We love you very much!

Since my husband is working on a Saturday; since it's been a cloudy, rainy day; and since it's been almost two months since I have done a blog post. I am doing a GIVEAWAY! Carl is working on a Saturday evening for a co-worker, but he will have Labor Day off. That will be nice because Carl will be able to stay at our family reunion as long as he likes. For the past few years, he has only been able to stay for an hour before heading into work. Instead of staying home by myself, Mom and I went shopping. We went to a consignment store called Off The Hanger, where I bought this pair of shoes for only $6:   Cute, huh?   We also went to Bath and Body Works. They were having a Labor Day Sale. The 3-wick candles are 2 for $20 this weekend. The mini candles are 2 for $5, and they also have lots of other things on sale. I love it when they have the candles on sale. I absolutely love the candles at Bath and Body Works!   I bought these two large candles.

Pinterest Recipe - Crockpot Italian Chicken

If sauce is too thick, add a little milk. Serve over pasta. We tried this a couple of weeks ago and really liked it. It is super easy, and tastes really good!
