What's in our backyard...

We have a litter of kittens hanging out in our backyard. I noticed a couple kittens a week or so ago. Then, this week, Carl noticed some more. We have counted at least 5 kittens and their mama. They are pretty cute, but we really don't need any cats. I am NOT a cat person, and even if I were, Carl and I don't want any pets right now. Though I have to admit, I watched the kittens play for at least 10 minutes or so last night. You see, I think kittens are cute, but I know that kittens grow up to be cats, and in my opinion, cats are not cute. I know there are some people out there that love cats...maybe they would want the ones in the backyard...

I am not sure what we are going to do about the new residents...any suggestions?

Candle Giveaway!

Since my husband is working on a Saturday; since it's been a cloudy, rainy day; and since it's been almost two months since I have done a blog post. I am doing a GIVEAWAY! Carl is working on a Saturday evening for a co-worker, but he will have Labor Day off. That will be nice because Carl will be able to stay at our family reunion as long as he likes. For the past few years, he has only been able to stay for an hour before heading into work. Instead of staying home by myself, Mom and I went shopping. We went to a consignment store called Off The Hanger, where I bought this pair of shoes for only $6:   Cute, huh?   We also went to Bath and Body Works. They were having a Labor Day Sale. The 3-wick candles are 2 for $20 this weekend. The mini candles are 2 for $5, and they also have lots of other things on sale. I love it when they have the candles on sale. I absolutely love the candles at Bath and Body Works!   I bought these two large candles.
