Happy 3rd Birthday, Elijah!

Yesterday was our nephew, Elijah's 3rd birthday. Jason and Tammy had the party at their house. Elijah is into firetrucks and firemen, so that was the theme. Tammy had a friend of hers make the cake, which turned out awesome. Elijah got lots of gifts from his family and friends. He kept asking, "Is this all my friends here, Mommy?" It was really cute. Tammy and Jason had Elijah say a little prayer before Jason continued the prayer for our food and for a blessing Elijah's life. Elijah is a special little boy and we love him a lot!

Candle Giveaway!

Since my husband is working on a Saturday; since it's been a cloudy, rainy day; and since it's been almost two months since I have done a blog post. I am doing a GIVEAWAY! Carl is working on a Saturday evening for a co-worker, but he will have Labor Day off. That will be nice because Carl will be able to stay at our family reunion as long as he likes. For the past few years, he has only been able to stay for an hour before heading into work. Instead of staying home by myself, Mom and I went shopping. We went to a consignment store called Off The Hanger, where I bought this pair of shoes for only $6:   Cute, huh?   We also went to Bath and Body Works. They were having a Labor Day Sale. The 3-wick candles are 2 for $20 this weekend. The mini candles are 2 for $5, and they also have lots of other things on sale. I love it when they have the candles on sale. I absolutely love the candles at Bath and Body Works!   I bought these two large candles.
