Tuesday
This a new recipe I tried. It is Parmesan Crusted Chicken.
Simple to make, and it tasted really good. I will post the recipe this week. This photo is right before I put the dish in the oven.

Thursday
I found this CD/DVD combo at our local Christian bookstore. We watched the DVD Saturday night.

Saturday
Our nephew is playing basketball through the YMCA. This was his first game.
He did pretty well. He made a couple baskets, although he forgot to dribble down the court. :)

If sauce is too thick, add a little milk. Serve over pasta. We tried this a couple of weeks ago and really liked it. It is super easy, and tastes really good!

Candle Giveaway!

Since my husband is working on a Saturday; since it's been a cloudy, rainy day; and since it's been almost two months since I have done a blog post. I am doing a GIVEAWAY! Carl is working on a Saturday evening for a co-worker, but he will have Labor Day off. That will be nice because Carl will be able to stay at our family reunion as long as he likes. For the past few years, he has only been able to stay for an hour before heading into work. Instead of staying home by myself, Mom and I went shopping. We went to a consignment store called Off The Hanger, where I bought this pair of shoes for only $6:   Cute, huh?   We also went to Bath and Body Works. They were having a Labor Day Sale. The 3-wick candles are 2 for $20 this weekend. The mini candles are 2 for $5, and they also have lots of other things on sale. I love it when they have the candles on sale. I absolutely love the candles at Bath and Body Works!   I bought these two large candles.
