Wedding Plans...

...are coming together, slowly but surely. Carl and I talked today at lunch about when we would like to get married. We are leaning towards late April 2009, which is 6 months away. We even talked about our honeymoon a little today as well. :) We haven't discussed colors yet, but we do know that we want to have the ceremony at our church. We are not sure yet if our Fellowship Hall would have enough room for the reception. We both have decent sized families, not counting friends and other people we know.

Wow! How exciting! This planning stuff is so much fun! I can't wait to go try on dresses! By the way, if anyone knows of a place in Indy (or relatively close) that sells modest/conservative bridal gowns, please let me know.

Candle Giveaway!

Since my husband is working on a Saturday; since it's been a cloudy, rainy day; and since it's been almost two months since I have done a blog post. I am doing a GIVEAWAY! Carl is working on a Saturday evening for a co-worker, but he will have Labor Day off. That will be nice because Carl will be able to stay at our family reunion as long as he likes. For the past few years, he has only been able to stay for an hour before heading into work. Instead of staying home by myself, Mom and I went shopping. We went to a consignment store called Off The Hanger, where I bought this pair of shoes for only $6:   Cute, huh?   We also went to Bath and Body Works. They were having a Labor Day Sale. The 3-wick candles are 2 for $20 this weekend. The mini candles are 2 for $5, and they also have lots of other things on sale. I love it when they have the candles on sale. I absolutely love the candles at Bath and Body Works!   I bought these two large candles.
