Colts Game

Last Thursday, the 28th, Carl and I went to the Indianapolis Colts preseason game at Lucas Oil Staduim. It was a lot of fun. I just wish the Colts would have won the game, but at least it was only preseason. It was Carl's birthday, so I had bought the game tickets for his birthday present. He was really surprised and loved going to the game. We had a good time. Here are some pictures of our experience. I tried to take a lot of pictures because who knows when I will be able to go to another game?

Candle Giveaway!

Since my husband is working on a Saturday; since it's been a cloudy, rainy day; and since it's been almost two months since I have done a blog post. I am doing a GIVEAWAY! Carl is working on a Saturday evening for a co-worker, but he will have Labor Day off. That will be nice because Carl will be able to stay at our family reunion as long as he likes. For the past few years, he has only been able to stay for an hour before heading into work. Instead of staying home by myself, Mom and I went shopping. We went to a consignment store called Off The Hanger, where I bought this pair of shoes for only $6:   Cute, huh?   We also went to Bath and Body Works. They were having a Labor Day Sale. The 3-wick candles are 2 for $20 this weekend. The mini candles are 2 for $5, and they also have lots of other things on sale. I love it when they have the candles on sale. I absolutely love the candles at Bath and Body Works!   I bought these two large candles.
