Baseball Anyone?

Carl and I are going to the Cincinnati Reds game tomorrow evening. The Reds are playing the Cleveland Indians. I have never been to a Reds game, so I am excited. The Reds are Carl's favorite team, whereas I am more of a Yankees girl. But he loves me anyway...hahaha. It should be a fun time. We are actually missing a cook-out at church to go to the game. Carl had ordered our tickets over a month ago, and we just found out this past Sunday about the cook-out. We will miss being our church family, but what can you do?

I am really looking forward to our date tomorrow. I just hope the weather holds out for us...

Since my husband is working on a Saturday; since it's been a cloudy, rainy day; and since it's been almost two months since I have done a blog post. I am doing a GIVEAWAY! Carl is working on a Saturday evening for a co-worker, but he will have Labor Day off. That will be nice because Carl will be able to stay at our family reunion as long as he likes. For the past few years, he has only been able to stay for an hour before heading into work. Instead of staying home by myself, Mom and I went shopping. We went to a consignment store called Off The Hanger, where I bought this pair of shoes for only $6:   Cute, huh?   We also went to Bath and Body Works. They were having a Labor Day Sale. The 3-wick candles are 2 for $20 this weekend. The mini candles are 2 for $5, and they also have lots of other things on sale. I love it when they have the candles on sale. I absolutely love the candles at Bath and Body Works!   I bought these two large candles.

Pinterest Recipe - Crockpot Italian Chicken

If sauce is too thick, add a little milk. Serve over pasta. We tried this a couple of weeks ago and really liked it. It is super easy, and tastes really good!
