10 Days!!!

I should have posted this earlier in the day, but we have 10 days till our wedding! I am so excited. People keep asking me if I am getting nervous, and no, I am not. I am excited, yes, nervous, no. We still have a few last minute things to do, but plan on getting those done this weekend.

My dress fits!! I had Sister Pile from church let it out some in the waist (it was a little snug..:...) and take it up a bit, since I am short and it was a little long. But it is finished now and fits well. I will taking in to work to be pressed/steamed. Glad I work at a Dry cleaners and can get a discount...:)

I am working on programs. I am going with a layered design, and it is a lot of work. I will be glad when I am done with them. I know that they will turn out nice though.

Speaking of programs, it is back to the grind for me....gotta get them done.

Candle Giveaway!

Since my husband is working on a Saturday; since it's been a cloudy, rainy day; and since it's been almost two months since I have done a blog post. I am doing a GIVEAWAY! Carl is working on a Saturday evening for a co-worker, but he will have Labor Day off. That will be nice because Carl will be able to stay at our family reunion as long as he likes. For the past few years, he has only been able to stay for an hour before heading into work. Instead of staying home by myself, Mom and I went shopping. We went to a consignment store called Off The Hanger, where I bought this pair of shoes for only $6:   Cute, huh?   We also went to Bath and Body Works. They were having a Labor Day Sale. The 3-wick candles are 2 for $20 this weekend. The mini candles are 2 for $5, and they also have lots of other things on sale. I love it when they have the candles on sale. I absolutely love the candles at Bath and Body Works!   I bought these two large candles.
