Less than a week away...

Saturday is the big day!

I am so ready for it to be here. I am excited to become Carl's wife...WOW...me, a wife. I didn't think it would ever happen. But, here we are, 5 days away from our wedding.

We got a lot done this past Saturday. We finished putting together the programs, and we worked on putting the favor boxes together. We ran out of the Hershey Kisses, or we would have finished that too. Jennifer came over and worked with Carl and I for 3 hours Saturday.

There are just some last minute things to do this week. All of the big stuff is done.

Saturday, here we come!

Since my husband is working on a Saturday; since it's been a cloudy, rainy day; and since it's been almost two months since I have done a blog post. I am doing a GIVEAWAY! Carl is working on a Saturday evening for a co-worker, but he will have Labor Day off. That will be nice because Carl will be able to stay at our family reunion as long as he likes. For the past few years, he has only been able to stay for an hour before heading into work. Instead of staying home by myself, Mom and I went shopping. We went to a consignment store called Off The Hanger, where I bought this pair of shoes for only $6:   Cute, huh?   We also went to Bath and Body Works. They were having a Labor Day Sale. The 3-wick candles are 2 for $20 this weekend. The mini candles are 2 for $5, and they also have lots of other things on sale. I love it when they have the candles on sale. I absolutely love the candles at Bath and Body Works!   I bought these two large candles.

Pinterest Recipe - Crockpot Italian Chicken

If sauce is too thick, add a little milk. Serve over pasta. We tried this a couple of weeks ago and really liked it. It is super easy, and tastes really good!
