1st Anniversary

Today we have been married for a full year. It does not seem possible. It seems like just last month we were getting ready for the wedding. It has been a wonderful experience. Married life is amazing. It is awesome being married to your best friend.

We thawed out the cake we saved from the wedding, and each had a piece. It still tasted pretty good for being frozen for a whole year.


Here is one of the anniversary gifts I received from Carl. I have it on the piano for now. I really like it.

Since my husband is working on a Saturday; since it's been a cloudy, rainy day; and since it's been almost two months since I have done a blog post. I am doing a GIVEAWAY! Carl is working on a Saturday evening for a co-worker, but he will have Labor Day off. That will be nice because Carl will be able to stay at our family reunion as long as he likes.
