Apple Works Orchard

I just wanted to post some random pictures of our little trip to the Apple Works orchard in Trafalgar, Indiana. It really is a neat place to go to in the Fall. They have apples (duh!), pumpkin patch, a little petting zoo, pony rides, train, and a huge slide for the kids. There is also a nice gazebo area that is perfect for pictures.

We bought two bags of apples, one for us and one for Mom and James. I also bought a delicious apple dumpling that Carl and I shared there. The place was very crowded, so if you go, expect to wait for a while. We may go back at the end of the month and take Mom. I think she would enjoy it.

Since my husband is working on a Saturday; since it's been a cloudy, rainy day; and since it's been almost two months since I have done a blog post. I am doing a GIVEAWAY! Carl is working on a Saturday evening for a co-worker, but he will have Labor Day off. That will be nice because Carl will be able to stay at our family reunion as long as he likes. I absolutely love the candles at Bath and Body Works!   I bought these two large candles.

Pinterest Recipe - Crockpot Italian Chicken

If sauce is too thick, add a little milk. Serve over pasta. We tried this a couple of weeks ago and really liked it. It is super easy, and tastes really good!
