Amy says that Carl & I should have done this...

If you haven't seen this video yet, it's pretty funny. I am not so sure everyone would have approved of this if we had done something like this at our wedding. I give the couple a "thumbs-up" for having fun with the processional though!

101 Things about me...

I know I haven't posted in a while. So since this my 101st post, here are 101 things about me. I have been working on this for a week... Warning: Total randomness follows.... 101 Things about me 1. I love kids…especially ones that I can send home to their parents after Junior Church on Sunday morning…with lots of candy… 2. I am a Christian and desire with all my heart to do what God wants. 3. I am loving the married life. It’s great! 4. I really miss my Dad a lot. There is not a day that passes that I don’t think about him. Thank God for the memories. 5. My favorite author is Ted Dekker. If you haven’t read any of his books, what are you waiting for? Read the Circle Trilogy. Now. 6. I was born in a land far, far away…called Panama. 7. But, I was a US citizen at birth. 8. Cherry Coke is my friend. 9. So is Sweet Tea. 10. I have a weird sense of humor. Some even call it morbid. I wouldn’t go that far. But it is pretty strange. 11. I love Sudoku puzzles. 12. One Month....already

Image
Wow, Carl and I have been married one month today. It is hard to believe that it has already been that long. It seems like we just got married. Married life is great. We are still getting settled in our house. It has been a little hard to get settled due to our schedules being a little wacky the past few weeks. We had one week of our normal schedule. Then, Carl was on days for two weeks, getting up at 5:45AM...ugh! I would go back to sleep until my alarm went off at 8. Now, this week, I am the one getting up at 6AM (or 6:30) and he is sleeping in. Carl is back to his regular 3 to 11pm shift. Next week we will be back to our normal schedule.

Loving the married life...

I was told that I needed to update my blog...that the honeymoon was over, more or less. So here you go, Annette. I am posting...lol. Well, married life is wonderful. I love my husband very much! We are getting settled in at our house. We still have some decorating to do, though. I have to decide on a theme for the living room. I haven't decided whether we want an Americana theme or a Country/Western theme. Our kicthen will have an Apple decor. Both of the bathrooms are almost decorated...we need shower curtain hooks for the curtain for the master bathroom. We have been getting pictures from the wedding and trip developed a little at a time. I took several hundred pictures on the trip alone. We are trying to get the pics into photo albums. We have not received our proofs from the professional pics yet, but should be getting them soon. I really look forward to going over those. If any of you were at the wedding and took pics with your camera, please email the pics to vanesmiller@hotm
