We got our Invitations today

We received our wedding invitations today in the mail. I was so excited! They are really pretty...at least we think so. :) I can't wait to send them out.

Seeing the actual invitation made the fact that I, Vanessa Miller, am getting married seem all that more official. It is exciting, and also a little scary at the same time. But it is a good kind of scary. If that makes any sense at all.

That's all I have for now...

I am off to read some more of my Ted Dekker book, Sinner. It is hard to put down, as all Ted Dekker books are.

Candle Giveaway!

Since my husband is working on a Saturday; since it's been a cloudy, rainy day; and since it's been almost two months since I have done a blog post. I am doing a GIVEAWAY! Carl is working on a Saturday evening for a co-worker, but he will have Labor Day off. That will be nice because Carl will be able to stay at our family reunion as long as he likes. For the past few years, he has only been able to stay for an hour before heading into work. Instead of staying home by myself, Mom and I went shopping. We went to a consignment store called Off The Hanger, where I bought this pair of shoes for only $6:   Cute, huh?   We also went to Bath and Body Works. They were having a Labor Day Sale. The 3-wick candles are 2 for $20 this weekend. The mini candles are 2 for $5, and they also have lots of other things on sale. I love it when they have the candles on sale. I absolutely love the candles at Bath and Body Works!   I bought these two large candles.
