Happy Birthday, Mom!!!

Today is my Mom's birthday. I won't tell you her age, but I will say that she does not look her age at all. :)

James and I just want everyone to know that we think our Mom is the best! She is funny, caring, a Christian, a great cook, loving, and so much more!

She has been through alot this year, but has been a beautiful testimony of someone who has depended on the Lord for every need.

Happy Birthday, Mom! We love you!

Candle Giveaway!

Since my husband is working on a Saturday; since it's been a cloudy, rainy day; and since it's been almost two months since I have done a blog post. I am doing a GIVEAWAY! Carl is working on a Saturday evening for a co-worker, but he will have Labor Day off. That will be nice because Carl will be able to stay at our family reunion as long as he likes. For the past few years, he has only been able to stay for an hour before heading into work. Instead of staying home by myself, Mom and I went shopping. We went to a consignment store called Off The Hanger, where I bought this pair of shoes for only $6:   Cute, huh?   We also went to Bath and Body Works. They were having a Labor Day Sale. The 3-wick candles are 2 for $20 this weekend. The mini candles are 2 for $5, and they also have lots of other things on sale. I love it when they have the candles on sale. I absolutely love the candles at Bath and Body Works!   I bought these two large candles.
