Vacation time

Tomorrow afternoon, Mom and I will be flying to this location:

Panama


We are going to be there for about 11 days. We will be visiting my Mom's side of the family. I have a lot of aunts, uncles, and cousins there. And that is where my Grandma Pena lives, of course.

Please pray that we have a safe trip down there and back.

I am going to miss my boyfriend Carl so much. This will be the longest stretch of time not seeing each other since we started dating. It has been 4 months since we have been an official couple. It's been amazing...but that's for a different post. :)

I will try to post updates while I am in Panama, but I may have to wait until I get back. I will have lots of pictures to post.

We are still here in Panama. We go home on Tuesday the 29th. It is sooo hot down here...like in the upper 90s every day! Alot has changed since we were here almost 9 years ago.

Candle Giveaway!

Since my husband is working on a Saturday; since it's been a cloudy, rainy day; and since it's been almost two months since I have done a blog post. I am doing a GIVEAWAY! Carl is working on a Saturday evening for a co-worker, but he will have Labor Day off. That will be nice because Carl will be able to stay at our family reunion as long as he likes. For the past few years, he has only been able to stay for an hour before heading into work. Instead of staying home by myself, Mom and I went shopping. We went to a consignment store called Off The Hanger, where I bought this pair of shoes for only $6:   Cute, huh?   We also went to Bath and Body Works. They were having a Labor Day Sale. The 3-wick candles are 2 for $20 this weekend. The mini candles are 2 for $5, and they also have lots of other things on sale. I love it when they have the candles on sale. I absolutely love the candles at Bath and Body Works!   I bought these two large candles.
