A new baby...

We have a new baby in our midst at church. Well, actually, he hasn't been to church yet, but he will soon. Our Pastor's wife, Sister Forsee, had a little boy last night. His name is Caleb Andrew. He is adorable. Mom and Aunt Pat went to visit Sister Forsee and Caleb this morning. Aunt Pat sent me these pictures:

Isn't he precious? I went to visit them today while I was on my lunch break with Carl. He is such a good baby. He was awake while I was holding him, and was just looking around, just so peaceful. I love babies!

I just had to share.

Candle Giveaway!

Since my husband is working on a Saturday; since it's been a cloudy, rainy day; and since it's been almost two months since I have done a blog post. I am doing a GIVEAWAY! Carl is working on a Saturday evening for a co-worker, but he will have Labor Day off. That will be nice because Carl will be able to stay at our family reunion as long as he likes. For the past few years, he has only been able to stay for an hour before heading into work. Instead of staying home by myself, Mom and I went shopping. We went to a consignment store called Off The Hanger, where I bought this pair of shoes for only $6:   Cute, huh?   We also went to Bath and Body Works. They were having a Labor Day Sale. The 3-wick candles are 2 for $20 this weekend. The mini candles are 2 for $5, and they also have lots of other things on sale. I love it when they have the candles on sale. I absolutely love the candles at Bath and Body Works!   I bought these two large candles.
