God answers before we even ask!

Today, Mom and I went to visit a lady from our church, Sister Charlotte Bates, who is in a rehab center in Shelbyville near I-74. Mom also wanted to try to find the location of the Work One office where she needs to go next week. The letter she received from them did not give any directions, and I could not find any directions online. Well, when we get to the rehab center, I happened to look across the road at a sign. It said "Intelliplex Park." I turned to Mom and said, "Hey that's the road you need." And it was. The office is located in that Intelliplex Park. God knew that Mom needed directions and He led her almost right up to the door. If we had not gone to see Sister Bates, Mom probably would still be looking for the place. Isn't God so good to us? He cares about the big things in our lives all the way down to the little things, like getting directions. I just thank God for everything He is doing in our lives.

Candle Giveaway!

Since my husband is working on a Saturday; since it's been a cloudy, rainy day; and since it's been almost two months since I have done a blog post. I am doing a GIVEAWAY! Carl is working on a Saturday evening for a co-worker, but he will have Labor Day off. That will be nice because Carl will be able to stay at our family reunion as long as he likes. For the past few years, he has only been able to stay for an hour before heading into work. Instead of staying home by myself, Mom and I went shopping. We went to a consignment store called Off The Hanger, where I bought this pair of shoes for only $6:   Cute, huh?   We also went to Bath and Body Works. They were having a Labor Day Sale. The 3-wick candles are 2 for $20 this weekend. The mini candles are 2 for $5, and they also have lots of other things on sale. I love it when they have the candles on sale. I absolutely love the candles at Bath and Body Works!   I bought these two large candles.
