Easy Pot Roast Recipe

This is actually cooking right now. It smells sooo good, making me very hungry for lunch tomorrow.

This is from the Gooseberry Patch "Super Fast Slow Cooking" book.

So Easy Slow Cooker Pot Roast

3 to 4 pound chuck roast
1 (10-3/4 oz) can tomato soup
1 (10-3/4 oz) can cream of mushroom soup
2 (16 oz) cans whole potatoes, drained
2 (14-1/2 oz) cans sliced carrots, drained (I use whole baby carrots)

Mix together all ingredients in a slow cooker. Cover and cook on low setting for 7 to 8 hours.



So easy and tastes so good, even warmed over the next day. I usually cook it one afternoon/evening, and we have it for lunch the next day.
