New Bedding

This is our new bedding for our bedroom. We bought the comforter set yesterday at Kohl's. I plan on buying a small pillow or two and the sheet set down the road. Kohl's also has the matching valance and curtains, but I am not sure if I want them.

That is our exact bedding! I didn't know they had the curtains and valances though! I'm getting window treatments for my birthday! Might need to check those out before I hang these others! Did you get yours in Franklin? I didn't see them in Columbus! I love the bedding, our walls are the blue color. It shows everything so you have to be super careful with the bedspread. It isn't kid friendly at all! I know you don't have children yet, but mine are forbidden to even sit on my bed when it's made!!! :)

We got ours at the Greenwood Kohl's. I didn't actually see the window treatments at the store. I saw them online.

I guess we have the same taste, huh? lol

Candle Giveaway!

Since my husband is working on a Saturday; since it's been a cloudy, rainy day; and since it's been almost two months since I have done a blog post. I am doing a GIVEAWAY! Carl is working on a Saturday evening for a co-worker, but he will have Labor Day off. That will be nice because Carl will be able to stay at our family reunion as long as he likes. For the past few years, he has only been able to stay for an hour before heading into work. Instead of staying home by myself, Mom and I went shopping. We went to a consignment store called Off The Hanger, where I bought this pair of shoes for only $6:   Cute, huh?   We also went to Bath and Body Works. They were having a Labor Day Sale. The 3-wick candles are 2 for $20 this weekend. The mini candles are 2 for $5, and they also have lots of other things on sale. I love it when they have the candles on sale. I absolutely love the candles at Bath and Body Works!   I bought these two large candles.
