Baptism Service at Church

Sunday evening, we had a Baptismal Service at church. There were 5 people that got baptized; Carl, me, Jennifer, Byron and Ben. There was one other that was supposed to join us, but she wasn't able to due to some physical ailments.

I thank the Lord for how He has been near to me. I thank Him for salvation, holiness, and His promise to never leave us or forsake us. I am so thankful for the opportunity to be baptized and for His help during the baptismal service.

Candle Giveaway!

Since my husband is working on a Saturday; since it's been a cloudy, rainy day; and since it's been almost two months since I have done a blog post. I am doing a GIVEAWAY! Carl is working on a Saturday evening for a co-worker, but he will have Labor Day off. That will be nice because Carl will be able to stay at our family reunion as long as he likes. We went to a consignment store called Off The Hanger, where I bought this pair of shoes for only $6:   Cute, huh?   We also went to Bath and Body Works. They were having a Labor Day Sale. The 3-wick candles are 2 for $20 this weekend. The mini candles are 2 for $5, and they also have lots of other things on sale. I love it when they have the candles on sale. I absolutely love the candles at Bath and Body Works!   I bought these two large candles.

Pinterest Recipe - Crockpot Italian Chicken

If sauce is too thick, add a little milk. Serve over pasta. We tried this a couple of weeks ago and really liked it. It is super easy, and tastes really good!
