Cnicinnati trip
Carl and I went to Cincinnati last weekend to celebrate Carl's birthday, which was the 28th. We went to a Cincinnati Reds game on Friday night. (They won, by the way...tickets to the game was Carl's birthday present.) There were fireworks after the game. The debris from the fireworks kept falling onto us and getting in our eyes. We went to the Zoo on Saturday. We didn't really think that we would see anyone that we knew while we were out there, but we saw our Pastor's wife sister (and fellow blogger), Kelly Stamper and her family. What a nice surprise. We stayed downtown at the Millennium Hotel, which was within walking distance of Fountain Square and Great American Ballpark. We really had a nice time. The weather was perfect, not too hot, but just right. We wished that we would have had more time there in Cincy, but maybe we can go back soon. I love the feel of the city. I love the old buildings and love being close to the river.
Here are some pictures from our trip.
