I love my Mom!!

I have the greatest Mom ever! She is always there for me, whenever I need her. I was having a horrible day today, suffering from a major headache. Plus, I was stressing out about stuff. I just felt like I was coming undone. With the holidays, wedding plans, CRAZY work, missing Dad, and 10,247,965 other things going on (or so it seems), I was definitely stressing out...

Mom could sense that something was wrong when she called me this afternoon...without me even having to say anything. (Crazy how moms can do that...) When I got home, we talked about what was going on. She is helping me out with some stuff, and I know that she is always praying for me, which means a lot to me. Mom is the best!!

Thanks, Mom! You are the greatest! I love you!

Since my husband is working on a Saturday; since it's been a cloudy, rainy day; and since it's been almost two months since I have done a blog post. I am doing a GIVEAWAY! Carl is working on a Saturday evening for a co-worker, but he will have Labor Day off. That will be nice because Carl will be able to stay at our family reunion as long as he likes. For the past few years, he has only been able to stay for an hour before heading into work. Instead of staying home by myself, Mom and I went shopping. We went to a consignment store called Off The Hanger, where I bought this pair of shoes for only $6:   Cute, huh?   We also went to Bath and Body Works. They were having a Labor Day Sale. The 3-wick candles are 2 for $20 this weekend. The mini candles are 2 for $5, and they also have lots of other things on sale. I love it when they have the candles on sale. I absolutely love the candles at Bath and Body Works!   I bought these two large candles.

Pinterest Recipe - Crockpot Italian Chicken

If sauce is too thick, add a little milk. Serve over pasta. We tried this a couple of weeks ago and really liked it. It is super easy, and tastes really good!
