Update

As some of you may already know, I made a trip to the ER last Wednesday afternoon. I was having really bad chest pains right after lunch on my way back to work. When I got to work, my co-worker called Carl. Carl came and took my to the hospital. I was having pain right in the center of my chest, along with numbness in both my arms and shortness of breath. I had never had anything like that before. When we got to the Emergency Room, they immediately started working on me, treating me for my heart until they found out otherwise. They did an EKG, which looked good, gave me some aspirin, they even brought in the little bottle of nitro, but they didn't have to give me any. They ran a chest X-ray, and took some blood. One of the blood tests came back abnormal, meaning that I could have had a blood clot somewhere. They ran a CT Scan to make sure that I didn't have a blood clot. All in all, I spent about 4 hours there, and the doctor said that what probably happened was that I had some...

Twitter anyone?

Does anyone out there use Twitter? I started an account a few weeks ago. I haven't updated it much. But it is sorta neat to follow well known people. I am following Max Lucado, Bart Millard from MercyMe, Mark Hall from Casting Crowns, Ted Dekker, just to name a few. Oh, let's not forget that my place of employment also has a Twitter account...yes, good ole Milto Cleaners is on Twitter. It takes some effort to find the people, but sometimes they post some funny things...or some profound things in the case of Max Lucado. Love his writings. Back to the subject... If you do use Twitter, look me up and follow me. That is, if you are really really bored... Tweet, tweet.

Two months

I can't believe that I have been married to this wonderful man for two whole months already! Carl is so special and amazing to me. He takes such good care of me, even when I do crazy things like end up in the Emergency Room for over 4 hours. But that's a different blog post all together. Too tired to post about it now...maybe tomorrow, but I am not making any promises. I will just mention that prayers would be appreciated.

Scences from this weekend...

Here is a short recap of our weekend: We received our wedding photo proof book. We actually got it on Thursday, but had a chance to really go through it this weekend. It is going to be really hard to choose the photos we want in our album and the other photos we want. Carl helped me decorate the Junior Church room on Saturday. This is a new theme for me. The kids liked the candy on the board today. I found a pair of cute shoes at Target for only 4 dollars...yay! Carl and I went to Symphony on the Prairie for "Mozart by Moonlight." It was amazing. Except for the bats we saw flying around. It was pretty crowded too. We were concerned that it might be too hot, but the weather was perfect. There was a really nice breeze. It was such a nice evening. This afternoon, we went down to Columbus, to hear a world famous Southern Gospel quartet called the Convention Quartet. It was an enjoyable afternoon. We got to see some people that we hadn't seen in a while.

My piano

We finally found a piano. I am so excited. It was delivered to the house on Saturday afternoon. It is an Everett Spinet piano. It sounds great in the house. The acoustics are wonderful. It fits perfectly right against the half wall between the living room and kitchen. We really thank the Lord for providing the piano for us. Here are a couple of pics:
