Saturday, July 9th, we went to a Southern Gospel concert down at the Bill Monroe Music Park. It was actually a 3 day concert, but we only went to the Saturday night concert. The performers were Gold City, Legacy 5 and The Perrys. The Perrys were actually there all 3 nights. We really enjoyed the outdoor concert. We were blessed by the music. It was so nice to just sit back and enjoy some good Southern Gospel music by three very talented groups. It had been a long time since I had heard Gold City sing live, so it was a special treat to see Tim Riley and to hear his booming bass voice. Gold City did several familiar songs, many I remember hearing the group sing a long time ago. Gold City's pianist, Bryan Elliott, did a fantastic job. The next group was The Perrys.
