Obama to Propose Dividing Jerusalem

* * * * FLASH TRAFFIC: WASHINGTON UPDATE * * * * URGENT: OBAMA TO PROPOSE DIVIDING JERUSALEM Let's build a team of 1 million friends of Israel to resist this. By Joel C. Rosenberg (Washington, D.C., May 20, 2009) -- Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu has just finished his visit to Washington. Full analysis on my weblog, including a link to the YouTube clip of me on Glenn Beck's show with a former CIA analyst who says he wouldn't care if Israel ceased to exist. That said, there's more troubling news this morning. I'm horrified by credible reports that in his June 4th speech in Cairo, President Obama will say it is time to divide Jerusalem and make the holy city the capital of a Palestinian state. No, Mr. President, it is not. Jerusalem is and should be the eternal, undivided capital of the Jewish people and the Jewish state. Dividing Jerusalem will not make peace. Rather, it would send a message to every Radical Islamic jihadist around the world that Israel is weak, th

Memorial candles

This is my first attempt at making memorial candles (or candles of any kind, for that matter). I want the memorial candles to be special. Carl and I have 6 members of our families that have passed away, and we want to remember them in some way on our wedding day. So we will have a candle for each one lit when the other candles are lit at the beginning of the ceremony. Here is the one that I made in memory of Dad. What do you think?

What we did today...

We went here... to get our marriage license today. When we got to the basement of the Courthouse where the Voter Registration is located, we were surprised to find it closed due to voting. I guess a few districts in the county were voting on some issues. We had to go back up to the clerk's office to fill out the paperwork to get our license. But we got it...and were very happy, as you can see here...(except for the sun shining in my eyes) 25 more days...:)

Advice wanted, please.

Carl and I have been meeting with our Pastor at church for premarital counseling the past few Saturdays. Pastor Forsee has suggested a few books for us to read, including The Five Love Languages, by Gary Chapman, and a book by Dr. James Dobson, What Wives Wish Their Husbands Knew About Women. Pastor Forsee said that the latter might be helpful for me as it mentions alot about low self-esteem in women, which is something that bothers me. That made me wonder if there are any other books that anyone of you have found helpful in your marriages. If so, please leave a comment with the title and author. Also, has anyone read the Fireproof book or the book that is mentioned in the movie, The Love Dare? If so let me know what you think... Thanks in advance for the book suggestions...
